What is Vesicare 5mg?

Contraindications to the use of drugs
The drug Vesicare is not used for children or adolescents under 18 years of age.

The dosage of the drug Vesicare
Adults, elderly: 1 time / day. The recommended dose is 5mg / day / time. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 10mg / day / time.
Children, adolescents: Safety and efficacy in children have not been established. Therefore, Vesicare is not recommended for children.
Patients with Renal Impairment: No dose adjustment is required for patients with mild to moderate renal impairment (creatinine clearance> 30 ml / min). Patients with severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance <30 ml / min) should be treated with caution and not to exceed 5 mg once daily.
Patients with hepatic impairment: No dose adjustment is required for patients with mild hepatic impairment. Patients with moderate hepatic impairment (Child-Pugh index of 7 to 9) should be treated with caution and not to exceed 5 mg once daily.
How to use the drug Vesicare
The drug is usually taken once per day with or without food. Follow your doctor's instructions.
Take this medication with filtered water.
Do not crush, chew, or break a tablet; should swallow whole.
